HARRIERS defender Gavin Hurren has been loaned out to Bromsgrove Rovers as manager Mark Yates attempts to get fringe squad members playing regular first-team football.
Hurren, who joined Kidderminster in the summer after being released by Nottingham Forest at the end of last season, has made just two appearances in the first team this season.
He impressed in both, though, particularly in his one start in the 3-1 win over Dagenham and Redbridge at Aggborough during December and now gets his chance in the Southern League.
Yates said: "Gavin didn't play on Saturday and at the moment I'd rather have as many of our lads out there getting games under their belts as possible.
"He'll go to Bromsgrove for just a month initially so that he can be playing regularly while either myself or one of my staff can watch over his progress."
