THE new club captain and lady captain staged their drive-in on a chilly day at Broadway last Sunday.
John Skinner has been a member of the Cotswolds club since 1968 and was also a keen rugby player and cricketer in his native Andover and when he moved to Childswickham.
The new incumbent, who plays off ten, takes over from Chris Wright and he will be assisted in his term of office by vice-captain Michael Hunt.
Jen Doran is the new lady captain and the 13-handicapper has already made an impression since arriving at the club in 2000.
The 13-handicapper from Willersey has represented Broadway in team matches and acted as competition secretary for two years.
