A NEW school is bringing the spirit of the dance to Bromsgrove when its starts classes on Thursday, January 12.
Ceroc's weekly classes open at the Spadesbourne Suite next to the Council House, on Burcot Lane, at 8pm.
Fusing salsa and swing the classes recreate the modern jive style that stars danced on in the BBC's popular show Stricjtly Dance Fever.
Danced in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to a wide variety of music, including moderns songs, the class creates the perfect night out.
Each routine is broken down so the class rotates every few moves, giving everyone a chance to dance with each other.
Debbie Attwood, who owns the franchise in Worcestershire, said: "Some people want to lose weight, increase their social circle or simply try something new for a bit of a laugh.
"What's great about Ceroc is that it can offer all of these and more. Ceroc is about having a great night out with no pressure in a fun and relaxed atmosphere."
Ceroc's classes have become worldwide phenomena, with 500,000 members across France, Australia, Dubai, Spain and Italy.
Admission for the first class is £4, which rises to £6 afterwards. For more information call Attwood on 07974 250885, or visit www.cerockidderminster.co.uk.
