SIR - I find it difficult to believe the attitude of the residents of Warndon Villages over something as inoffensive as the new O2 mast. What is all the fuss about? After seeing all the publicity in the area before it was erected I was expecting to see some huge great monstrosity when in fact it looks like a small lamp-post.
Having lived in Ronkswood for the past 20 years I used to be able to walk my dogs on lovely countryside where the Villages now stand - and they are much more of an eyesore than that little mast. The people involved with campaigning to have it removed should think themselves lucky to be in a position to live in an area such as that when so many people are homeless. Maybe they could campaign for more affordable housing and stop whingeing!
