TWO Droitwich Spa brothers were seriously assaulted and robbed by a gang of youths after a birthday celebration.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the two men were attacked by a group of teenagers in Westlands Way in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Both men were returning, with a friend, from a birthday celebration when they were targeted at around 2am.Both were punched to the ground and repeatedly kicked before their wallets were stolen.
The assaults took place near Westacre Middle School. One of the brothers sustained facial injuries and was treated by ambulance staff who attended.
Their attackers were white males in their late teens and are thought to number between five and seven. Most were believed to be wearing tracksuit-style jackets.
One of the attackers was described as a white male, aged between 16 and 18 years, who had a distinct suntan.
He was wearing a white top, threequarter length white trousers and had dark, gelled hair. He was 6ft to 6ft 2inches tall.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity at the time and who may have witnessed the assault, or who saw individuals or a group running from Westlands Way area around the time of the offence.
