AT THE County Table Tennis Championships held at Worcester, Luke Moffat from Evesham High School was crowned junior champion when he beat Littleton clubmate Tristan Gretton 12-10, 11-7, 11-5 in the final.
Fellow Littleton player and ten-year-old Blackminster Middle School pupil Ella Parry-Reece, meanwhile, showed her potential when she became County Under-12 champion with a 11-3, 8-11, 14-12, 11-8 victory over Beth Roberts from Kidder-minster.
She was also a losing finalist alongside Leanne Sully in the Junior Girls Doubles.
Both Parry-Reece and Moffat topped their respective age groups at the West Midlands Regional Trials.
Both youngsters overcame stiff opposition from Birm-ingham and four other counties with the undefeated Moffat claiming the Under-18 boys title.
Parry-Reece won the Under- 11 girls event and lost just one match all day.
The pair, along with Rac-hael Sellick who finished third in her Under-18 girls event, will be representing Evesham in the English National Finals in Bristol in March.
