A CHARITY supporting vulnerable adults in Redditch and Bromsgrove is holding two events to try to recruit new volunteers.
Members of Bromsgrove & Redditch Advocacy Group will be getting out and about tomorrow and at Redditch Library on January 26 to give people an opportunity to ask questions before they make any kind of commitment.
There is no pressure on volunteers regarding time commitment as the time required from volunteers can be anything from an hour a week to a few hours daily and the time they commit will be up to them.
A group spokesman said: "Any amount of time can make an enormous impact on someone else's life.
"The Bromsgrove & Redditch Advocacy Group aims to protect the rights of vulnerable people within the local community by recruiting and supporting volunteers to speak up on behalf of people with disabilities.
"Our existing volunteers are doing a brilliant job but our volunteer resources are now stretched to almost full capacity so we're looking for anyone that feels they may be able to help us.
'Without help many people living within our own communities will continue to be excluded and isolated leaving them open to abuse, exploitation and neglect, we've had so much success in helping people but may soon have to turn people away."
