Malvern's branch of the Pony Club has a new district commissioner.
Don Hall retired at the end of 2005 and has been replaced by Chris Esling, formally assistant DC, who has had a long involvement with the club, with both of her daughters being active members.
Mr Hall's commitment and enthusiasm has been a great motivation for all involved, club members said this week.
Mrs Esling said: "The Pony Club provides fun and education in a safe environment from highly qualified instructors for all those interested in riding and caring for their horse or pony."
The branch has provided members with hundreds of hours of educational rallies, fun shows, residential and day camps.
For more information on joining the Pony Club, call Mrs Esling on 01684 591300.
