MALVERN Rugby Club must win their home Midlands Two West match against Old Laurentians tomorrow (Saturday) if they are to continue their climb up the table.
Their visitors are presently at the bottom of the league with Malvern just one place above and two points clear, although OL's have a game in hand.
Malvern have won two and drawn one of their 12 starts this season but have been lifted with two wins out of their last four league games.
Director of rugby Dave Robins said: "This is a massive game. We need to win at least four or five games to be safe. It is a big ask.
"We have been operating with a thin squad and have been badly hit by injuries all season which had made the problem worse.
"There is better news round the corner as Jamie Anderson, who was one of our better players last season, has started training following a long term injury and we are looking to sign another three-quarter.
"We are hanging on by our fingernails and the club needs to show some real character."
