TWO former Bewdley High School pupils are well on their way to successful modelling careers.
Brother and sister, Tom and Katie Archer, of Hexton Lane, Arley, were both photographed for a feature on party clothes and appeared in The Telegraph Magazine in early December.
Katie was scouted during a school visit to Clothes Show Live at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, a year ago and, since then, she has done work with the agency, Boss Management, based in Manchester, and is also working for ICM in London.
The 16-year-old, who was able to wear a dress previously worn by Madonna in one photo shoot, said she was enjoying modelling on a full-time basis.
She added: "It is different. It is not the same every day - you get to meet new people, get made up and wear different clothes."
Katie has done various photo shoots modelling clothes and jewellery and will be appearing in three magazines in the spring.
The teenager has been modelling for eight months and turned full-time in the summer when she turned 16.
Tom, 18, was signed up by ICM when he accompanied his sister on a photo shoot and has been modelling for two months.
He has done several shoots, including one in Paris for Vogue magazine and will be doing several catwalk shows in London next year.
Their mother, Jane, said she was very proud of the siblings, adding: "They love it. There is a lot of travelling for them but they are getting used to it.
"Their friends are really excited. They were both in the top 10 new faces for Vogue."
