A BROADWAY man has spent the Christmas break driving shoppers around the village in his horse and carriage to raise funds for charity.
Tim Crump, a retired Broadway fire fighter decided to treat shoppers arriving in the village to a unique experience by allowing them to travel by horse and carriage.
Mr Crump said: "I wanted to raise money for charity and I thought by driving people around Broadway would be a great way of raising money for charity while letting people enjoy their shopping experience here."
Mr Crump, who is a Broadway resident, has spent this last December and this month driving passengers, costing £2 per passenger, around the village raising £180, which will be donated to the Barn Close, medical centre.
He added: "I am thrilled I've raised the amount we've had some cold nights this Christmas and last so £180 is a fantastic amount."
