THE annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 18 in Astley village hall, at 7.30pm.
Derek Walker has offered to supply potted polyanthus for members to grow for the Spring Show on March 25. Anyone wishing to take part is asked to collect their pot at this meeting.
At the May meeting fuchsias will be available for the Summer Show, and viola to be shown at the Autumn Show.
Mr Walker won the Ron Lincoln Memorial Shield at the Kidderminster show in September, with a planted window box.
Astley won the Jim Greenhow Memorial Shield at the quiz night on November 30, beating Stourport, Clows Top, Hartlebury, Kidderminster and Bewdley. The team comprised captain Vic Pow4ll, Hillary Kilby and Mr Walker.
After the annual meeting, Michael Ecob will continue his slide show of "Travels of an itinerant gardener" with pictures from Madeira, Cornwall, Singapore, Tasmania and Australia.
