A BEWDLEY town councillor has appealed for missing concrete bollards alongside part of a busy Bewdley road to be replaced to prevent potential accidents.
Paul Gittins said he noticed the bollards in Catchems End had gone missing several weeks ago.
They used to be on the wide footpath on the Kidderminster Road by the junction with Habberley Road and Mr Gittins said that since they had gone drivers were parking on the pavement to visit the fish and chip shop across the road.
He added: "The large 4x4s drive over the kerb sometimes into Habberley Road, which causes a danger to vehicles entering Habberley Road from Kidderminster Road. I have asked for these bollards to be replaced."
Andy Broom, of the Highways Partnership, said: "We have had a look and there are some that have disappeared. It is just causing a few concerns about parking. It can be a bit dangerous so we are going to replace the missing bollards as soon as we can."
