SPECIAL events for open gardens are being organised during February by the National Gardens Scheme.
"This should be during the period when so many plants are beginning to come back to life and certainly will include winter aconites, cyclamen, hellebores, snowdrops, plus a few camellias and even some early daffs," said Dick Armitage, for The National Gardens Scheme in Worcestershire.
The events are Saturday, February 4, The Greyfriars, Worcester, 1pm to 4pm £1.50; Thursday, February 12, Barnard's Green House, Malvern, 2pm to 6pm, £3; Saturday and Sunday, February 14 and 15, Dial Park, Chaddesley Corbett, 11am to 4pm, £2.50; Thursday, February 19, Hanbury Hall, Droitwich, 11am to 4pm, £2.50.
