KINGS Norton return to league action on Saturday with a match against basement side Handsworth at Ash Lane (ko 2.30pm).
And it will be a special day for the Hopwood club as the match will be dedicated to former president David Phillips who died last month, aged 64.
Phillips, who built the clubhouse extension 25 years ago, had been fighting cancer. He also had long-standing links with Handsworth RFC and a large turnout is expected at the game in North Midlands (South) One.
League rivals Woodrush will also be hoping for maximum points from their game at Bredon Star (ko 2.30pm).
The Forhill outfit, who took the Boxing Day honours with a 52-38 victory in their friendly at Kings Norton, should have a full-strength squad for the trip.
Redditch are also in North Midlands (South) One action with a trip to Worcestershire neighbours Evesham (ko 2.30pm).
Alcester skipper Nick O'Connor will be hoping for better fortunes on the pitch in 2006.
And the King's Coughton side have the ideal opportunity to lift themselves away from the relegation battle at the foot of Warwickshire One when they play host to Trinity Guild on Saturday (ko 2.15pm).
Alcester will also be in 20/20 action at Stratford tonight when they face the Crowd Pleasers from Old Leamingtonians (ko 8pm).
