As usual the president conducted the business for the evening, including the fact that following the sale of WI House in Worcester the HQ for the Worcestershire WI Federation had now moved to Hallow.

It was also reported that our skittles team had played two matches losing one match and winning the other - both by a margin of only five points. We were then entertained by four singers, a group called Razz-ma-tazz. One of the singers is a member of Salwarpe WI and she and her fellow entertainers had our feet tapping to popular Carpenters and Duke Ellington songs among others, finishing with songs for the Christmas season.

We followed this with a super buffet, the members all brought in a plate of titbits to share and we ate our way through dips with carrots and celery, quiches, sausage rolls, cheeses, prawn canapes to various cakes, mince pies and fruit - delicious!
