The Christmas meeting of Lickey WI was held at the parish hall. Members had enjoyed a coffee morning at the home of Mary Rollason during November. The skittles team had been successful in its first match of the county skittles tournament.
Members donated a wonderful array of gifts to be presented to the Women's Refuge. The competition winner for the year was announced and the engraved Salver presented to Pat Schofield. There were three lucky raffle winners.
Marguerite Hughes entertained fellow members with her experiences of cruising over recent years. Chris Bould thanked Marguerite for her enthusiastic account.
The evening was rounded off with carols, accompanied on the piano by Janet Coe. President Sue Mayne read a seasonal poem and wished everyone a happy Christmas and peaceful New Year.
