A BROMSGROVE headteacher said a final farewell after 11 years at her school.
Lesley Leigh, head at Sidemoor First School in Broad Street, retired just before Christmas.
Pupils presented her with a special picture of Inkberrow Church - her home village - as well as a picture of the school with all of the pupils' names on.
Mrs Leigh will now take up a part time role working for the National College of School Leadership, on a consultancy basis, working with headteachers.
"They have given me such a great send off. It's very touching," she said.
"It has been wonderful to help build up the school, and I will leave behind a very loyal and hardworking team."
