KIND-hearted children at St Bede's Middle School hit the right note when they held a playground busk for charity.
Year Eight students played carols during break-times before the end of term and collected more than £50 for the CAFOD Appeal.
CAFOD is a Catholic overseas agency which supports people in developing countries regardless of race, religion and nationality.
A spokeswoman at the Holloway Lane school, which is a regular supporter of CAFOD, explained the money would be used to buy at least a cow and some chickens for an overseas family.
