TOP-flight staff at a Redditch veterinary centre will be treated to a balloon ride after being crowned pet health check champions.
Vets at Southcrest Veterinary Centre in Mount Pleasant will enjoy the flight as a special gift for completing more than 50 free pet health checks during PDSA National PetCheck Week.
The nationwide event saw PDSA PetAid Hospitals join forces with private veterinary practices to offer owners free pet health checks plus general pet care advice.
Head nurse Becky Denton said: "We were delighted to support PDSA in this important pet care event.
"All the pet owners who brought their pets to us were very happy with the free checks.
"We did identify some pet health problems but the majority of pet owners were just pleased at the opportunity to get their pet's health checked and to receive advice on topics from diet and nutrition to training tips and preventative healthcare such as vaccinations."
