A PAIR of budding martial arts masters from Bromsgrove earned their black belts in a self-defence style invented in Worcestershire in December.
Jack Simspon and Michael Woods joined hundreds from across the West Midlands to earn their belts at the British Free Fighting Academy's (BFFA) grading.
The duo had to show their prowess in grappling, defending against multiple attackers and many more techniques to earn the coveted belts.
The BFFA was founded by Bromsgrove resident Andy Hopwood in 1995 and is based in the Fighting Fit shop in Aston Fields.
