IT'S all change at the top as the president, secretary and treasurer are all standing down after three years, six years and 33 years respectively.
The year ahead sees Menai Watkins in the hot seat. In the coming month, a new secretary and treasurer will be appointed.
Janet Clemas was the WIA who officiated the voting and also gave an interesting talk on various WI procedures.
Over the past 12 months, members have enjoyed numerous holidays in this country and abroad - Durham, Yorkshire, Prague, Vienna and Europe's Christmas markets.
The spring sees some going off to China.
Those interested in the crafts have been able to take part in making cards, painting and creating sugarcraft at the various "dabble days". For the more sporty-minded, their energy has been used at skittle alleys.
Energy has also been used at the weekly hand bell practises. Hazel Richards was the lucky recipient of a luxury fruit cake in the Yorkshire Tea competition.
It is an exciting programme for 2006, starting this month with Brewing for Ladies.
Outings include a trip to the opera at Malvern Theatre in March.
There is also the opportunity to go to other WI events in the county. On the calendar at the moment is A Little Indulgence Day (chocolate) at Little Whitley in February and a musical day at the Hundred House in March.
December's meetings included the festive supper, when entertainment was provided by a member of Cookhill Keyboard Club.
