THE society recently held its annual print and slide competitions, which showcase the best of members' work.
The competition was well attended, with a record number of prints, and was judged by Peter Young, who provided constructive comments on all the entries.
Overall winner was Lisa Rose, who also won best landscape with her picture of New York.
In second place was Roy Cottrill with his picture of Caerhays at sunset and third was Maureen Stubbings with her entry entitled Springtime. Several other entries were commended by the judge.
The competition was judged by Katie Platt and was also well attended, with 42 slides on show.
Irene Matthews was judged best overall with her entry Reed Buck, second was Gill Kettle with Pine Cones and third was Robin Jeffs with Silent Witness.
The society always welcomes new members and anyone interested can call Rob Rowberry on 68928.
