YOUNGSTERS at Tardebigge First School have brightened up the school with the help of a visiting artist.
Children were asked to produce drawings based on the school logo, which features Tardebigge Church, the school a rainbow and children.
Sara Welsh, who co-ordinated the project at the Church Lane school, said artist Tina Farri-mond helped pupils as part of a six-day residency, thanks to a grant from the county and district councils.
"She worked with the children and transformed their drawings into a mosaic - we will have it dedicated by the vicar in the new year," she said.
"The school has been there since 1850 and we would like it to be there for much longer, including the mosaic which sums up the school's ethos, a really friendly happy place to be."
