AN ancient tradition was revived as members of Alcester Court Leet tested a new beer.
The medieval body's two Ale Tasters tried out a new brew, made by local company Purity Brewing.
They joined High Bailiff Peter Carr and Teej Deffley from the Holly Bush for the tasting of the company's brand new brew Pure Gold.
Purity Brewing, based at Spernal Ash, is set to be formally launched in the new year and will be supplying the area.
Sales director Paul Halsey said: "Pure Gold and Pure Ubu have been extremely well received over the festive period to the point of demand outstripping production. We are busy brewing more Gold and UBU for the new year."
