A GROUP of Brownies have helped brighten up the town's library with their art work.
Girls from 3rd Alcester Brownies made a collage for one of the library's display boards, choosing the theme of autumn for their work.
Brown Owl Stephanie Jackson said the girls were keen to do some craft work and particularly wanted to make a collage.
"It seemed a shame to go to all the trouble of taking the picture and then not actually showing it off," she said.
"We're a very small pack so the girls worked really hard to make this collage in just one evening - it's a great example of what team work can achieve."
The girls received their Artist badge for their work, which is on show in a corner of the Priory Road library.
Anyone wanting to join 3rd Alcester Brownies, who meet in the town on a Friday night, can call Mrs Jackson on 01789 762345.
