HANLEY Swan went through to the second round of the Baylis Cup after defeating Welland Athletic 3-1.

There were no goals after a fairly even first-half of his typical local Derby fixture.
Hanley opened the scoring midway through the second- half when David Schooling netted but Welland hit back straight away through Adam Webb.
Hanley pressed on and took the lead again when Dan Briscoe was on target. As the game drew to an end, Paul Rice made the game safe with Hanley's third goal.
