CHILDREN at Upton CE Primary School have prepared a nativity play with a difference.
No Room For A Baby frames the traditional nativity tale within the story of a modern day mother seeking shelter for her baby.
All of the school's Key Stage 2 pupils, aged seven to 11, are taking part in the production.
Teacher Sarah Shackles said she hoped children, parents and teachers would enjoy it.
"It's a good mix of modern and traditional and the children have provided their own costumes which are fantastic," she said.
"Even though we're approaching the end of a long term, the children have thoroughly enjoyed rehearsals and I'm sure the performances will go well."
The children perform the second of their two sell-out shows at the school this evening (Friday).
