INQUESTS were being held in London this week into the deaths of Malvern's John and Annie Hofton, who were killed in the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami.
Mrs Hofton, who owned Tizzies boutique, was holidaying with her husband in Khao Lak, Thailand, when the giant wave struck.
West London Coroner's Court held inquests on 91 Britons killed by the tsunami to determine their identities and where and how they died. The verdict in each case was "Engulfed by a wave - a victim of the tsunami".
