MATHON, Cradley and Storridge (MCS) men's A tennis team maintained their unbeaten start to the winter season with a comfortable 3-2 victory at Hallow Tennis Club.
The regular MCS pairing of Chris Brandon-White and Duncan Hannaford were in fine form and gained their most convincing wins as a pair, winning both rubbers 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-0 respectively.
Although Paul Grubb and Phil Toghill lost their opening rubber, they managed to regain their composure as they both served well to win the final rubber 6-2, 6-3 to secure the victory.
