CHRISTMAS cheer will light up a Worcestershire street thanks to a generous woman who is making her home sparkle for charity.
Carole Lorimer has lit up her home like a Christmas tree and is inviting in her friends, neighbours and anyone else passing by to enjoy some festive fun.
Her house is decked out in holly, decorations and lights - but it's not just festive on the outside, as passers-by can drop in for mince pies, mulled wine and a Christmas raffle.
The open house festive fun will be held from 4pm to 7pm on the next two Sundays - December 11 and 18 - at 94 Cornmeadow Lane, Claines, and all are welcome.
All the money raised will be going to local charities.
Sue Sowden, a family friend, said: "Carole raised £1,700 for Acorns last year and decided to do it again.
"People driving past won't be able to miss it. She has done a lot for charity over the years and it will be great fun.
"There aren't many street lights in Claines so it will be pretty easy to spot her house!"
