STOURPORT Men's Firsts suffered a disappointing 4-2 defeat at Formby in English League National North.
Rob Lashford levelled an early opener for the hosts but Stourport fell 3-1 behind before Rob Allen cut the deficit with a penalty stroke.
However, Formby wrapped up the scoring to leave Stourport fifth in the table.
Normal service was resumed for Stourport Women's Firsts who recovered from the previous weekend's defeat with a 5-0 thrashing of Shrewsbury Seconds in the Midland Conference League.
Wilma Martin and Louise Bagnall were on target as Stourport Seconds lost 3-2 at Old Silhillians, despite an impressive start.
They dictated play early on but did not take chances until Alex Totney's run and cross was put away by Martin.
Old Sils ensured Stourport were staring at a third league defeat though with three goals, including one from a short corner.
Stourport struck back with Bagnall firing into an open goal from Georgie Burns' return pass.
Stourport did well to keep out their lowly-placed opponents in the second-half with the hard-working Martin one of the main reasons.
The Thirds suffered only their second league defeat of the season as they went down 2-0 at Evesham Firsts.
Stourport attacked well early on and forced short corners in the opening 20 minutes against their patient hosts.
Evesham grabbed a goal against the run of play with the scorer rounding Kathy Doyle and goalkeeper Charlotte Manley to finish off.
Player-of-the-match Kerry Maughan was on the ball a lot but Evesham extended their lead on 43 minutes after a short corner was not properly cleared.
Stourport continued to test the Evesham 'keeper but could find no way onto the scoresheet.
Visiting Redditch Seconds crushed Stourport Fourths, back from an enforced three-week break, 6-0.
Redditch's quick passing and tough tackling proved too much for the home side who never gave up.
