A 2-2 draw helped neither recently relegated Barlaston or Pershore in West Midlands Two.
The first-half was a tight affair with Pershore stringing good counter-attacks together and resisting the Barlaston pressure.
Debutant Neil Gabriel and Toby Whiting marshalled the midfield, whilst Rushin, Wright, Rushton and the returning Hawkes controlled the opposition forwards.
After a goalless first-half, Barlaston started the second at a ferocious rate and hit the opener.
Pershore replied quickly with a move, through Scudamore and Hughes in midfield, that saw Lisle set up Hanley to finish.
The visitors then went ahead through a clinical Lisle finish after more good work from Hughes and Whiting.
But Barlaston equalised with 15 minutes to go after a well-struck short corner.
Pershore Seconds lost 2-0 at home to Kingswinford, matching their opponents for guile but the latter's fitness eventually told.
Pershore's main threat came from the forward partnership between Martin Thomas and Mark Passmore.
Rushin and Wright defended excellently but the deadlock was broken by a scrambled second-half goal.
Kingswinford then exploited the gaps caused by Pershore pushing forward and bagged an excellent second.
The Thirds defeated West Bromwich 1-0 in easily their best display of the season.
Mike Andrews thundered home his first goal for 18 months after a great move involving the Handleys, Graham and Rob.
