A minute's silence was held in respect for national chairman Barbara Gill, who died last month.

The sum of £55 has been sent to the Associated Country Women of the World.

A community quiz will be held at three venues in February.

Dates for the diary: February 15, indulgent day, Little Witley village hall; February 20, resolutions campaign, Bradbury Centre; March 7, musical lunch, The Hundred House, Great Witley - closing date to purchase tickets is January 24; March 14 until 18, Great Witley Operatic Society will be performing The Mikado.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday in the Memorial Park community centre, Stourport, at 10am - members are asked to note this meeting being held in the second week of the month.

Members are asked to take along a small plate of savouries and one of sweets, or cake, plus a glass and cutlery.
