BIG-hearted Harriers fans have donated £5,000 to Kemp Hospice from the proceeds of a grand summer ball.
The Nationwide Conference team's manager, Stuart Watkiss, presented the cheque to Kemp's chief executive, Keith Dallason, during a lunch at the Aggborough Suite.
The money was part of the £14,500 proceeds raised from the ball at Park Hall, Blakedown, by the Harriers Premier Group, the club's fund-raising arm.
Group organiser, Ernie Lane, said Kemp had already received cheques for around £250 collected on the night of the ball and a further £1,400 was being donated to Cancer Research UK.
A Hallowe'en Night fund-raiser organised by the Harriers Premier Group also raised £1,000 for the victims of last Boxing Day's tsunami and £700 to help save bears in China.
