A CHARITY will take on 170 NHS staff under their existing terms and conditions when it takes over the management of community homes for people with learning difficulties in Kidderminster and Bromsgrove.
New Era, part of the New Dimensions charitable industrial and provident society, has won the contract to run the five homes around Kidderminster and seven in neighbouring Bromsgrove.
The care workers have been employed by the North Warwickshire health trust, which failed to be shortlisted when the contract came up for renewal.
