A PENSAX farmer fighting to save eight cows which tested positive for bovine TB - including six close to calving - has been threatened with arrest if she refuses to allow Government vets to remove them this week.
State Veterinary Service staff are refusing to allow a stay of execution to give time for a second test to be carried out on the animals at Lower Snead Farm.
mq Farmer, Margaret Booton and family friend, Samantha Qureshi, believe a second test will show they are not infected.
Their MP, Leominster Tory Bill Wiggin, visited the farm on Friday and is writing to Environment Secretary, Margaret Beckett, at the Department for Environ-ment, Food and Rural Affairs.
