DROITWICH'S ashes hero Ashley Giles scooped all the top prizes at the BBC Midlands Sports Awards for his efforts with the England cricket team.
Giles, who played a key part in England's 2-1 Ashes win over Australia in the summer, took three awards away from the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull on Sunday night.
Viewers of Midlands Today named the Warwickshire spinner Midlands Sports Personality of the year.
The awards night, which was packed with the cream of the Midlands' sporting royalty, was presented by newsreader Nick Owen.
Giles was also named Sportsman of the Year and he and fellow Warwickshire teammate Ian Bell were joint recipients of the World Beaters award.
Other notable winners were amateur golfer Felicity Johnson, from Birmingham, who won Sportswoman of the Year award.
Aston Villa and Northern Ireland midfielder Steve Davis was named Footballer of the year.
