A FINE display from Northampton rider Richard Allen saw him land the honours in Redditch Motor Cycle Club's annual Terry Cup Christmas Pudding Trial.
The event, which took more than 75 riders around a tricky course, also saw Inkberrow rider Mark Hicken secure a top three place.
Riders started with four sections in Davis's Yard, Astwood Bank, where local Webheath rider Mark Harris had a nasty crash on the big slate hill climb, breaking the front mudguard off his machine.
The course then saw competitors head to Jones's Bank where there was a good turnout of spectators to watch the action on the muddy banks.
Allen made easy work of the four sections but Hicken struggled on the very first section, requiring some very heavy 'legwork' to get his machine through to the end.
The Modified event was won by Clive Charlton.
