Barrow 2 Redditch United 0
Redditch's hopes of a morale-boosting FA Trophy run ended when they crashed out of the competition at an icy Holker Street.
There was little to choose between the sides early on in this third qualifying round replay with United's Joe Broad having a number of long-range efforts fly wide of the target.
Redditch's best chance came on the half-hour when Paul Moore looked to have steered the ball home only for his effort to be cleared off the line.
But it was Barrow who made the breakthrough on 36 minutes when Mike Rushton picked up the loose ball and slotted in from a narrow angle.
The Cumbrians were forced to replace keeper Ben Morsby early in the second half with midfielder Jonathan Smith but he was a virtual spectator as Barrow dominated the remainder of the game.
Gavin Knight had a header saved by United keeper Nathan Vaughan but the home side did add a second on 59 minutes when Neil Tarrant chipped the ball over the keeper from the edge of the area.
Leading scorer Knight could have added a third late on but was denied by the upright.
