KIDDERMINSTER'S Glades Arena will be one of the venues when the Coaching Solutions Midland Invitation Indoor Hockey Tournament begins in the new year.

The competition takes place on January 7 and 8 at the Glades, Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre in Birmingham and Worcester's Perdiswell Leisure Centre.

It is played in pools on Saturday, with play-off matches on Sunday. The men will play in four pools of four teams at the Glades and Cocks Moors Woods, with the ladies at Perdiswell in two pools of five teams.

Stourport will be one of the teams in the men's section, but the Wyre Forest area has no representatives in the ladies competition.

Men's: Bournville, Reading, Railway Union, Dundee Warriors, Cannock, Cheltenham, St Albans, Beeston, Barford Tigers, Birmingham University, Kingston Upon Hull, Old Loughtonians, Doncaster, Loughborough Students, Swansea Bay.

Ladies: Olton and West Warwick, Havant, Railway Union, Caledonian, Clifton, Loughborough Students, Penarth, Sevenoaks, Slough and Sutton Coldfield.
