Weights on the Sunday Open were smaller than the previous week, but the fish were more evenly spread across the Mucky Meadow Pool.
Silver fish were back in action, with the Silver prize taken by Kevin Williams with 7lb. Pegs 38 and 42 seem to be the most consistent, producing second and third places for the second week in succession.
Result: Arnie Woolhouse (Furnace Mill) 30lb (peg 47), Dave Parry (MN Autos) 27-4oz (38), John Newton (Furnace Mill) 26-10 (42).
Maggot, caster and corn are still the most effective baits, with the waggler having the edge on pole-fishing.
