Evesham Utd Robins U-12 0,
Evesham Utd B 1
SUNDAY'S clash was closely fought and settled by a solitary strike.
Dan Wilcox almost gave United an early lead but only superb defensive play at the opposite end denied Sam Penfold.
United goalkeeper Tom Bennett produced a fine save and that proved even more crucial when player of the match Joe Iorns popped up in the opposite penalty area to snatch the winner before half-time.
Iorns went on to produce some excellent skills on the right in the second half but there were no further goals with James Hitchman's late left-footer coming closest to increasing the margin of victory.
