Chaddlesley Corbett are still in the title frame after making hard work of their 22-15 defeat of Dudley Wasps.
Tries from Will Haynes and Jamie Crawford and three Nick White penalties gave them a seemingly comfortable 19-6 interval lead.
But Dudley staged a second half revival to close the gap to four points and it took another White kick to kill them off.
On Saturday, Chaddesley travel to Hereford to take on bottom club Greyhound who have lost every game so far.
l Chaddesley seconds were forced to call off their scheduled merit table clash with Kidderminster thirds after injuries decimated their front row.
