PERSHORE 'B' beat Heenans 'A' in the Nationwide Doors and Windows Worcester League Division One top-of-the-table clash.

The home team took a hard-fought encounter by the odd frame in five.

At the other end of the table, GWR 'A' earned a fabulous 3-2 win at home against third-placed St Stephen's 'G'.

Gynne Hicks, Ron Lewis and Brian Gibbons were victorious for the home team, while Mark Harvey and Darren Cutler earned St Stephens their points.

Suzy Q 'A' continued their run with a 4-1 win, even without captain Mark Morris.

In Division Two, top two teams Hallow 'A' and Pershore 'C' lost 2-3 but remain in command.

St Stephen's 'C' moved to within one point of the leaders and Suzy Q 'E' are a team on the up.

Four points plus a bonus moved them up to fourth, just one behind St Stephen's 'C'.
