AM disgusted by Wychavon's plan to give taxi tokens to young drinkers.
We pensioners went to watch the vote on OAP travel tokens. Councillors set police on us; cowing the elderly by show of truncheons and dogs, calling pensioners 'Rent a Mob.'
They voted to stop our tokens, now they want us to subsidise nights out for Pershore's teenage drinkers.
Why is it the Droitwich area always loses out to fund perks for elsewhere? Our own councillor, Christian-Brookes should stop voting on party lines and start sticking up for us, his constituents.
Spare money should improve our bus services.
If they can afford to go out drinking all night, the young drinkers of Evesham and Pershore can pay their own way home. The old and infirm of Droitwich have been the milking cow of Wychavon for far too long!
