THE penultimate week's action in the Worcestershire Cricket Centre Indoor League saw wins for Elmley Castle, Evesham Academy and Harvington.
Leaders Elmley easily overcame Great Alne who were bowled out for 61 with Cawson (2-9) the pick of the bowlers. Simon Cooper hit an unbeaten 27 as the chasers lost just two wickets in surpassing their target.
Evesham produced their best performance to comfortably account for Badsey by 54 runs.
The Academy amassed an impressive 147-3 thanks to four retirements courtesy of Knight (36), Andy Fisher (34), Weaver (25) and Chana (25).
Knight then grabbed the crucial scalps of Westmacott and Dave Powell before there was a run on the board and only 52 from Cowley saved Badsey more embarrassment in their reply of 93-4.
