POLICE are appealing for information from anyone in the Redditch area who may have been offered a mobile phone believed to have been stolen.
The appeal comes after a man went in to Hair Creations on Mount Pleasant at about 10.15am on Saturday, November 19 offering to sell Motorola Razr and Nokia mobile phones police believe have been stolen.
The man was described as black, aged about 45, about 5ft 11ins tall and of slim build.
He was wearing a brown jacket, cream shirt, grey trousers and black shoes.
Pc David Jennings, of Redditch police, said: "We believe the man may be driving two vehicles, a burgundy old style Fiesta and a blue Mercedes E Class.
"I would ask anyone with information or anyone who has been offered a mobile phone by a man fitting the above description to contact me on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
