WORCESTERSHIRE and Redditch councillors were put through the mill by more than 80 young people at the Town Hall on Monday.
Students from Kingsley College and Trinity, St Augustine's and Arrow Vale high schools took part in a question and answer session to mark the end of Local Democracy Year.
Councillors from all parties were grilled on issues such as the Alexandra Hospital, policing and the Abbey Stadium development.
Event organiser, Councillor Juliet Brunner, said: "It was intriguing to see just how aware the young people were about issues that you may assume just pass them by, such as the future of the Alexandra Hospital."
