Friends of Bosbury School (FOBS) hold their Christmas fair at the parish hall on Friday, December 9, 1.30pm-4pm. Stalls include home-made gifts and crafts, tombola, raffle and scrumptious cake stalls.
At the parish hall in the evening, Christmas bingo in aid of BCI (charities for children with kidney problems). Doors open 7pm, eyes down 8pm.
On Sunday (December 4) there is an 11am service at Holy Trinity, Bosbury. Modern morning prayer with hymns and worship songs. On Sunday, December 11, parish communion is at 9.30am and in the evening at 6.30pm a Christmas concert by Vital Spark. Vital Spark West Gallery Choir's concert in July was so enthusiastically received that they have been invited back for a Christmas Celebration. Expect to hear the Christmas carols of Thomas Hardy's time and other contemporary Christmas music performed with enormous verve and jollity by outstanding voices and diverse instruments.
